Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has allegedly been caught stealing a doughnut.
The 20-year-old was shopping at Tesco when he was caught on CCTV eating the Krispy Kreme doughnut worth £1.19 ($1.86) without paying for it, reports The sun.
De Gea was stopped by security guards as he exited the store in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
The Spaniard footballer was then supposedly taken to the 'stop and search' room, but no further action was taken. He was said to have looked "pretty embarrassed" by the incident.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "A customer was spoken to by our security team and the issue was resolved."
De Gea relocated from Spain to England over the summer when he transferred from Atlético Madrid in a high-profile deal
